Maria is a certified interior designer at Buehrer Group Architecture and Engineering in Uptown Maumee. Recently relocating to Maumee, Maria has chosen to integrate herself further into her new community by becoming an active participant in MUBA.
Jamie Tscherne
Secretary
Jamie is a lifelong resident of Maumee and has practiced interior design with Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. for more than twenty years. Having grown up in Maumee and now raising her family here, she is excited to be part of the MUBA leadership team and to play an instrumental role in supporting local businesses and enhancing the community through MUBA-led events and initiatives.

I am a retired attorney. I moved to Maumee in 1980 and practiced law in northwest Ohio for forty-three years, the last thirteen of which I had an office in downtown Maumee. I became active in MUBA to support my hometown and the uptown business district that adds much to the quality of life here.

Raised in Maumee, Ohio, I am a proud business owner who deeply loves this city and is excited about its future. My passion for Maumee drives my work with the Maumee Uptown Business Association (MUBA), where I strive to contribute to the town I cherish. Through my business and community involvement, I am dedicated to fostering growth and making Maumee a vibrant place to live and work.
The organization was formed in 1975 to attract new business, create increased awareness of retail opportunities, and stimulate interest in historic Uptown Maumee.
